The past is already gone We won’t get to stay here long Let’s make this moment last Time goes by way too fast
Things fall apart
We come together
Things fall apart
Can they get better?
Where do we start?
Even endeavor
Where do we start?
Can we remember?
To look in our hearts
And come together
Look in our hearts
Will be so much better
The past is already gone
We won’t get to stay here long
Let’s make this moment last
Time goes by way too fast
Empty roads, nowhere to be
What we were now, just a memory
Time goes by, still you and me
Hope’s still growing and we still have our fantasy
Fantasy, fantasy
Hope’s still grow and we still have our dreams
The past is already gone
We won’t get to stay here long
Things fall apart
We came together
They came apart
What can’t we weather?
Came to a stop
Will it get better?
If it’s just us alone together
What a painful time
What we’ll remember
The moments that we share together
Will soon be back to the same
Yet somehow we’ll be changed
We’ll start life over again
Hopefully our dreams remain
Empty roads, nowhere to be
What we were now, just a memory
Time goes by, still you and me
Hope’s still growing and we still have our fantasy
Fantasy, fantasy
Hope’s still grow and we still have our dreams
Time goes by, still you and me

Careless Words
About the song
Hurtful words uttered in a careless moment can rise like a mountain between us… we can only tear this down with love and forgiveness. If we can strip away the ego and strip away the pain, and look deep into our hearts, we discover that forgiveness is the only way. It’s easy to act out in anger, or bite back in a moment of madness — to stay and be present in our love is challenging, but when we’re brave enough to do this, our love can see us through anything.
Careless words delivered thoughtlessly
Linger longer in the air
Again I’m acting recklessly
And you think that I don’t care
But I do, oooh I do
A quick retort without much thought
Can wind you right away
Violent like a boxer’s blow
Now I’m worried you won’t stay
But you do, you always do
Sometimes we say silly things
Are forgiven all the same
Other times we use careless words
Yet our love remains unchanged
Other times it gets more intense
It really puts us to the test
In the end it’s always true
Love will see us through
Sharp words delivered pointedly
Prick and poison to the core
Something like a scorpion’s sting
Yet somehow we want more, yes we do
Gentle words offered up with love
So intimate and true
Take us to the heart of love
Will always see us through, yes they do
Words that come between us, they don’t stay
Our love is far beyond reactive things we say
Words which stand between us fall away
We’re stronger together, despite some things, some days
Sometimes we say silly things
Are forgiven all the same
Other times we use careless words
Yet our love remains unchanged
Other times it gets more intense
It really puts us to the test
In the end it’s always true
Love will see us through
Lately
About the song
Everyone will experience loss in their lives, in some form, at some point. It’s not usually expected, and even when it is, it’s still a shock. No two losses can ever be compared, and no grief is the same — yet we all experience this loss, and most times it leaves a hole in our soul. ‘Lately’ is about my own experience of loss: not knowing what would get me through. It’s a feeling I can still recall at any moment. Through grief and loss, I have been forever changed.
It’s been a little tough lately
More than a little tough lately
Feeling black and blue, undone too
Keeping it together? Maybe
Been a little rough lately
More than a little rough lately
Feeling black and blue, undone too
Keepin’ it together vaguely
Crying for the weekend
Wishing our lives away
Praying for redemption
Maybe just a better day
Calling for salvation
There’s gotta be a better way
We all need new direction
I wish and dream and cry and pray
What’s gonna get us through? Gonna get us through
What’s going to get us through? Gonna get us through
What’s going to get us through?
Gonna get us through
I don’t know
Is it drunk nights or daydreams
Passionate love and haunting screams
True reflections or new intentions
I’m open to every and all suggestions
What will see us through
What is gonna get us through? Gonna get us through
What’s going to get us through? Gonna get us through
What’s going to get us through? Gonna get us through
I don’t know
Rise Up
About the song
When we were young, we built sandcastles knowing they’d wash away. Then, as adults, we build lives thinking they will stay. We often forget simple truths that surround us every day. The truth we should remember — one that’s been there from the start — is that after night comes day again: light will always break the dark. What matters most when the worst transpires is how we choose to be: to rise above it all and set our spirits free. In each of us there lies a key, a beauty deep inside — the chance to start again, renewed. The right to rise is part of you, as the sun, the stars, the moon.
Scorched earth brought new life
Though loss was our sacrifice
Love can be a powerful thing
Together rising
We started a fire
Burnt the old ways down
Impassioned desire
Turned our lives around
We rise up, rise up tall
Rise up, above it all
Rise up, a brand new dawn
Rise up, to life reborn
It may have been a crazy ride
Emotions unleashed inside
Behind us just ash and dust
Through ruins we rise in trust
We started a fire
Burnt the old ways down
Impassioned desire
Turned our lives around
We rise up, rise up tall
Rise up, above it all
Rise up, a brand new dawn
Rise up, to life reborn
We rise up, rise up tall
Rise to have it all
Rise up, rise up tall
Rise to have it, have it, have it all
Through rise and fall, have it all
Through rise and fall
Rise up, rise up tall
Rise up, above it all
Hey there!
